Emotional Health

The Student Wellness Center offers one-on-one consultations with students covering stress management, organization skills and healthy communication.

If you need to talk to someone, we are happy to listen. You can schedule an appointment to speak to a health educator by calling 972-883-4275. We will see students on a walk-in basis if it is an urgent situation regarding any health and wellness topic. We also train faculty and staff in suicide prevention in order to provide a well-educated environment for students.

The center staff offers referrals to the Student Counseling Center, the Galerstein Gender Center or other services on campus based on the needs of students.

If you are concerned about a student and are unsure of where to share that information, the center can help you determine the best on-campus resource based any specific situation.
