Our goal is to engage students in developing skills to practice wellness in their own lives. Through engaging activities, individual consultations, workshops and training, we provide collegians with the resources and skills to develop personal wellness practices.
Explore Our Wellness Topics
College is a great time to consider your relationship with wellness and ask questions, like “do these practices or behaviors help me achieve the life I want to live?” Through the Student Wellness Center, you can participate in a variety of anonymous or non-anonymous self-assessments or schedule a meeting with a professional staff member to deepen your understanding of wellness.
Education and Training
At UT Dallas, students are provided with both required and optional learning opportunities to develop a foundation for lifelong wellness.
Required Training
All new students, including first-year and transfer students, are required to complete online modules about alcohol and sexual violence prevention. These training courses are designed to help you make informed decisions, prevent harm and foster a safer campus community. Additionally, student-athletes complete tailored educational programs addressing wellness topics relevant to their experiences.
Optional Workshops and Events
Throughout the year, the Student Wellness Center offers workshops, seminars and events covering a variety of topics, from stress management and mindfulness to safer sex practices and alcohol education. These programs are designed to equip you with practical tools to enhance your overall wellbeing.
Wellness Coaching
Our professional staff are here to support you in achieving your wellness goals. Through one-on-one coaching sessions, we provide personalized guidance on a range of topics, including:

Receive tailored advice to help you create balanced eating habits, address food-related challenges and build a positive relationship with food.
Substance Use
Explore strategies to reduce harm, make healthier choices and address concerns related to alcohol or other substances.
