Nutrition Coaching

Supporting students as they create healthy habits and plans around nutrition is a core component of the coaching programs in the Student Wellness Center. Our staff and Peer Health Educators are trained to share practical, evidence-based education around nutrition while supporting students in achieving their personal wellness goals.

We believe:

All Foods Fit – No single food is “good” or “bad.” All foods can be part of a healthy lifestyle.

Eat What You Like, Add What You Need – Nutrition should be enjoyable. The foundation is eating foods you enjoy while learning how to include what your body needs for energy, focus and long-term health.

Growth is in Finding Balance – Wellness comes from progress, not perfection. Nutrition is about balance, flexibility and discovering what works best for you over time.

What to Expect from Nutrition Coaching

With Nutrition Coaching you will:

  • Identify barriers to healthy eating
  • Set personalized nutrition goals
  • Develop an action plan that matches your lifestyle and preferences

Nutrition Coaching is not:

  • We do not diagnose medical conditions
  • We do not prescribe meal plans
  • We do not promote calorie counting or restrictive dieting

For students with specialized medical nutrition needs, we offer referrals to licensed clinical dietitians.
